Wasabi

I have a theory about proximity to greatness. The closer you are, the more you are empowered or some waffle like that. People move places because all the best things of the world collect in one pool and you get the best of everything… Anywho, being in one of the world’s greatest cities gives you access to amazing food - not just mushy peas, but Indian curry houses, Jewish delis and mmmm, Japanese.

Oxford Street is home to Wasabi - a neat sushi joint where you load up and eat up. It was delicious and crazy at the same time - lime perspex chairs, friendly staff and individually wrapped rolls. Soy, wasabi and ginger is 5p each and you get a cute little mixing cup. It’s all about choice - what do you want to do today? It’s actually a bit hard for me to describe - I had an absurdly good time there, so why don’t you check it out yourself? On the same note, apparently the Yo Sushi is pants, so don’t go there. You’ve been warned!

Here’s the experience, visually from start to finish: Oxford Street to chowing down in Hyde Park. It was so good we ate Dave’s lunch too. Sorry Dave, yay Wasabi!
